We are a family-owned and operated homebuilder and real estate developer that serves the Sioux Falls region. Since the company was founded in 2011, we have built over 75 homes that are both beautiful and affordable. Our Award Winning homes have helped to shape neighborhoods in new developments of Sioux Falls. We take pride in our attention to detail, craftsmanship, and integrity. Smith Development Company, LLC specializes in new home construction, custom home building, spec home building, residential land development, remodel and basement finishes, and residential and commercial masonry projects. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of construction and tailor each customer's experience to their unique needs and expectations.

Our Team
Brady Smith
Brady founded Smith Development Company, LLC in 2011 after graduating college with degrees in Entrepreneurship Management and Accounting from the University of Minnesota. He learned the construction trade from his father Tom, who is also a part of the company.
Tom Smith
Tom has over 40 years of experience in the masonry business, which can be seen in the quality of work in each of our projects. His expertise was developed in his own company, Tom Smith Masonry, which was established in 1977 in Sioux Falls, SD. TSM has had clients all throughout South Dakota and the upper Midwest and works on both small and large-scale projects.
Brooklyn Smith
Brooklyn serves as the office and finance manager of Smith Development Company. She is currently a student of the University of Sioux Falls and is majoring in Professional Accounting and Business Administration.
